We are delighted to have the rather fabulous Robert Thompson, AFS Media, joining us at Cae Rhug throughout 2024. Rob has worked a little with us in the past, he is an amazing photographer and film-maker and we have really enjoyed the times he has been able to join us in the past. Now, with thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund, Rob is able to join us more often and will be recording the farm’s story through the year as we bring the Sharing Field back into production, develop new gardens, grow lots of plants and of course most importantly grow people’s mental health and wellbeing.
Rob will become a regular visitor, sometimes creating drone footage and sometimes making sound recordings, but also chatting to and photographing some of the people we are supporting and the work they are getting involved with.
They say a picture tells a thousand words, and we can see no better way to show the value of the sessions we run here and to help tell the stories of the amazing people we work with. 2024 is going to be a very busy year for Cae Rhug with so many projects shaping the farm, and to have these changes and the story recorded professionally, will be be an amazing asset to not only look back on but to show to future funders.
